About the 5 Million Tree Campaign
Trees provide enormous economic, environmental, and health benefits to our communities. That is why the Sacramento Tree Foundation is working to help plant 5 million new trees in the greater Sacramento region by 2025.
If you live, work, or play in Sacramento, El Dorado, Sutter, Yolo, Placer, or Yuba County, we invite you to get involved. Together we can make our neighborhoods safer, cleaner, and healthier for us all. There are a few ways that you can participate:
- Plant more trees to grow a living legacy 5 million trees strong;
- Volunteer to bring the splendor of trees to every corner of our community;
- Learn to maintain strong, healthy trees that will thrive for generations; and
- Join and be part of a movement to bring lasting change to our region, one tree at a time.
